Over 150 bikes will be given away Friday Night by the Getz family to kids attending Big Diamond Speedway races.
It will be “Topless” night this Friday, July 19th at Big Diamond Speedway. That’s right, the Quandel Concrete Modifieds will be going topless racing 30 laps for a $7,000 first place prize. Not to be left out, the Uss Achey, Inc 602 Crate Sportsman will also be Topless and racing in a 20-lap feature for some extra cash with $1,200 going to the winner on Dukmen Enterprises Night. Rounding out the big racing card will be the Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunners along with the return of the Big Creek Concrete Rookies who will also go topless.

This Friday night will also be Getz Motorsports Bike Night put together by Danica and Kailyn Getz, daughters of Butch and Robin Getz who own the No. 15G piloted by the “Diamond Cutter” Duane Howard. The Getz girls have gone over and above the past two years to get the young kids involved in the racing at Big Diamond with numerous interactions and giveaways. This Friday night the girls are prepared to give away over 150 bikes and helmets to kids in attendance. This Friday, the Quandel Concrete Modifieds will race Topless for a cool first place prize of $7,000 in their 30-lap main event. Duane Howard has won two out of the last three topless races and has to be considered one of the favorites. With his win in the second twin 20 last Friday, Brett Kressley has taken over the points lead from Louden Reimert who had his troubles in last Friday’s nightcap. Rookie Logan Watt remains third followed by Duane Howard and Ryan Watt. Modifieds must remove the roof and windows this week to compete.
There will be some extra cash on the line for the Uss Achey, Inc. 602 Crate Sportsman on Friday. They will race a normal 20-lap feature paying $1,200 to the winner. Like the modifieds, the 602 Crates will also rans sans their roof and windows and go topless. Current points leader Jordan Henn has been very strong the past weeks with a win and a second place, Henn is poised to repeat his championship if he can keep up his current pace. The always consistent Kevin Olenick sits in second followed by Jax Yohn, rookie Colin Cox and Matt Martino.
Chuck Fayash fresh off his big Full Fender Frenzy win last Friday is on a roll and continues to lead the way in the Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner division. I know I keep repeating myself but it is worthwhile to say that the Roadrunner division puts on some of the closest and most competitive racing you will witness at Big Diamond on a weekly basis. Despite his win last Friday night, Chuck Fayash still remains in second place in the championship standings trailing his nephew Andrew Fayash III. Kris Ney, Alex Schoffstall and Mike Riechert complete the top five in the race for the 2024 title.
After a lengthy absence, the Big Creek Concrete 602 Crate Rookies return to action this Friday night running topless as well. Christopher Buffalino has won the last two times the crates have raced. Other winners have been McKenzi Smith (2) and Chase Gular.
Warmups will get underway Friday at 7:15 PM with racing to follow.
Pit gates will open Friday night at 5:00 PM with the Grandstand gate opening at 5:30 PM
Pit admission is $35 for those with a Big Diamond License. Non-licensed Pit admission is $45.
General admission for this Friday is $28, Kids under 16 are free.
