Pottsville's John Holobetz Selected by Milwaukee Brewers in MLB Draft

 

Schuylkill County native John Holobetz was selected in the MLB Draft on Monday.

Holobetz, a right-handed pitcher, graduated from Pottsville Area in 2021, just completed his junior year at Old Dominion University.

Holobetz was selected overall 156th during the 5th round by the Milwaukee Brewers.

With their 5th-round pick (No. 156 overall), the @Brewers select @ODUBaseball RHP John Holobetz.
