Georgine M. "Jean" Quirk
On Tuesday July 24th at Geisinger St. Luke's Campus in Orwigsburg, Jean left this world to be reunited with the love of her life, Jack.
Jean was very proud to have been born on the 4th of July in a small "patch" outside Minersville called Black Heath to George and Lil (Seiger) Trianosky. She was a former member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she also attended school. She graduated as an honor student and commencement speaker from Cass Township High School. She then went on to work in the city of Pottsville, retiring from the Commonwealth of PA with 35 years of service. It was in the "Big" city of Pottsville that she met Jack, the guy that would be the love of her life for over 63 years. They were married January 31st 1963 and spent many good years together raising a family, vacationing in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, traveling to almost all the states in the US, being involved in Democratic politics, and most importantly being involved in the Church of St. Patrick, where Jack served as the Deacon with Jean right by his side as either a Lector, Extraordinary Minister, Altar Server or just being there to help him.
Preceding Jean in death was the love of her life, Jack, her parents, sister Pat, and grandson Jeremy John Costy.
Surviving are daughter Lisa, son Shawn (Rose Ann), granddaughters Rebecca (Tom) and Shauna (Dan), and grandson Dylan Patrick, great-grandchildren Lily, Adalyn, Thalya Jean, and Levi John, brother Rick (Kathy).
