She worked as a Supervisor Certified Peer Specialist at Culture2culture, Pottsville. Lynn enjoyed crafting, holding many sessions for her peers at the community center.
She was preceded in death by a son Jason Bowles.
Surviving are her fiancé Charles Lyster of Pottsville; 3 Daughters Heather Bowles of Tampa, FL; Michelle Hodge of Pottsville; Jessica Brown of Conshohocken; Stepson Justen Lyster of MD; 6 Grandchildren Amy Lynn, Dalton, Ethan, Mason, Winter and Charlee.

Denise Marie Hill, 51 years of age, of Brockton, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Friday, February 2, 1973 in Petersburg, Virginia the daughter of the late Thomas Keith Wilkinson, and the late Kathleen (Moran) Mclaughlin. Denise was also predeceased by; her brother, Keith J. Wilkinson.
Survived by her husband of 25 years, Michael D. Hill; uncle John Moran and his wife Pat; step father, Dennis McLaughlin; cousin John Michael Moran and his (companion) Partner Breann, great nephew, Nolan Moran as well as other nieces.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Denise earned her associates degree from McCann's School of Business. She was the Township Secretary / Treasurer for Schuylkill Township, and had worked as Human Resource Director of the Hometown Walmart previously. An avid reader Denise was dedicated to helping educate families on Type 1 Diabetes. Denise also enjoyed the companionship of her dog Kaycee..

Andrew Kane Jr., husband, father grandfather, brother, 81 years of age of Tamaqua, passed way on July 25, 2024, at Pottsville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Born July 11, 1943, in Philadelphia the son of the late Andrew Kane Sr. and Pearl Horton Kane. He was also preceded in death by a sister Ann Marie Vrabold.
Surviving are his wife Anna May (Ahrens) Kane; Son Andrew Thomas Kane and his Fiancé Mandy Hasnoich of Bethlehem; Daughter Karen Lynn Nelson of Tamaqua; 3 Grandchildren Eric Nelson; Jennifer Brozyno; Thomas Nelson; 7 Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters Cookie Clark, Candy Green, Linda Kane, Kathy Hoff and Penny Brinich. Andrew had many careers including maintenance for Northeastern Hospital and St. Leo’s Church; Philadelphia Warrant Officer and Security Officer; He was a Member of New Hope Assembly of God, Tamaqua; a former member of the Ryan Township Fire Department; Amateur HAM radio Club of Tamaqua and former member of the Masonic Lodge in South Philadelphia.

Gail Marian Paul, 80, formerly of Williamstown, lost her battle with Alzheimer’s disease and went home to be with the Lord (her rest, rock, and refuge), Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2024, at the Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Pottstown.
Gail was born in Williamstown, May 3, 1944, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Rowe Schoffstall.
She was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School where she was active with the Alumni Association.
She was a dedicated and faithful member of the former Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, Williamstown, serving on every committee and in various roles from groundskeeping and housekeeping to secretary/treasurer, choir director (kids and adults over the years), Sunday school teacher, ‘Ladies Meeting’ coordinator, prayer meeting leader, organizer of the yearly chow-chow preparation/sales and funeral meals, designer of the weekly church bulletin, and more. She also served as lay delegate to the conference. She was a current member of the Faith E.C. Church, Wiconisco.
Gail was the embodiment of a “servant’s heart”. She found purpose in being a helper in whatever way she could. She regularly prepared food and baked goods to deliver to shut-ins or to donate to bake sales.
Gail had been very active in the Williamstown community, volunteering wherever needed, including with the judge of elections, the food pantry, and the backpack program to name a few.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest "Bush" Paul, 2013, a son-in-law, Benjamin Hartzell, 2023, and siblings/half-siblings Evelyn Sturgis, Donald Schoffstall, Carol Gonder, and Kenneth Schoffstall.
Surviving are her three children, Richard Paul (Amy), Colorado, Diane Hartzell, Northampton, and Christine Kile, Akron; six grandchildren, Tracy, Ethan, Eli, Ava, Anna, and Irene; a brother Marvin Schoffstall (Sheryl), Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Louann Martin (Richard), Mechanicsburg, and Doris Hand (Dave) Halifax; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Gail's life will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM from the Faith EC Church, Wiconisco. A visitation will be held from 12-1. Gail will be laid to rest privately in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Faith EC Church, 543 Center St, Wiconisco, PA 17097.
