Doris E. Renninger, 85, of Pottsville, died on Saturday, July 6, at Schuylkill Center.

Born on March 31, 1939 in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Francis E. Barnes, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Pisco. She attended the former Mary Queen of Peace Parochial School. She was first employed at the former Necho Allen Hotel before working in the Dietary Department of the former Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Francis E. Barnes, Jr., Thomas Barnes, Kenneth Barnes and Charles Barnes.

Doris is survived by two daughters, Michelle Gradwell (spouse, Randy), Pottsville, and Linda Davis (spouse, Daniel), Poplar Bluff, Missouri; six grandchildren, including Charles F. Renninger, whom she raised; 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara A. Bolinsky, Hamburg; nieces and nephews.

Services are private. Dutcavich Funeral Home has charge.

Linda B Lisella, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, 74 years of age, Mckeansburg, East Brunswick Township, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem,

Born Saturday, April 15, 1950 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Norman W., and Betty D. (Knadler) Hess. Linda was also predeceased by; daughter, Crystal Adams; sister, Ruth Ann Underwood; brother, Howard Ralph Hess.

Surviving are; son, David J. Freiwald and his wife Teresa of Schuylkill Haven; brother, Robert Hess and his wife Terry; sisters, Evelyn Brunner and her husband Sonny, Diane Powell and her husband Fred, Darlene Wirth and her husband Jim; grandchildren, Marla Freiwald, and Page Adams. Many nieces and nephews also survive Linda.

A Blue Mountain High School graduate, Linda had worked at Atlas Powder Co. the former General Computer Store in South Tamaqua, and retired from Schoeneman of Pottsville.
