A Schuylkill County woman has died from the injuries she sustained in a crash last week in Wayne Township on Route 183.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill haven, the crash occurred around 1:15pm on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, in the area of 986 Route 183.
Troopers say Zulakha Rodrigues, 74, of Auburn was driving northbound on Route 183 in a Toyota Corolla when she crossed the double yellow line and struck Carl Miller, 67, of Bernville in a Ford 250 Supercab nearly head-on.
Miller was reported to have sustained minor injuries and was transported to Geisinger St. Lukes in Orwigsburg by Schuylkill EMS.
Rodrigues' injuries were listed as serious and she was flown to Hershey Medical Center where she passed away on Friday, July 26th, 2024.
