Shenandoah Man Charged for Possessing Explicit Images of Children

A Shenandoah man is free on bail after being charged for possessing explicit images of children.

According to court documents, Angel German, 38, of Shenandoah was charged the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and taken into custody on Tuesday, July 30th, 2024, on 35 counts of possessing child pornography and 1 count of criminal use of a communication facility.

Court documents show that on June 17th, 2024, three cyber tips were reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Childre for a report of content on a Google Drive.

An investigation showed that 408 photos were uploaded by German to drive showing explicit images of children.

Upon being taken into custody on Tuesday, German was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker, Shenandoah, and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $100,000 straight cash bail.

German posted bail via a professional bondsman on Wednesday and was released.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 22nd, 2024 before Judge Kilker.
