St. Clair woman faces assault charges after alleged stabbing.
According to St. Clair Police, on Tuesday, July 16th, 2024, police were dispatched to the 500 Unit Block of South Mill Street for a report of a stabbing during a domestic dispute.
When police arrived, they found a female victim with a large laceration to her head, as well as a large amount of blood throughout the home.
The victim identified Lauren Davie, 32, of St. Clair as the person who assaulted her.
Davie was taken into custody and charged by St. Clair Police with aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing the instrument of a crime, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.
Davie was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew Serina on the above charges and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled with Magisterial District Judge David Plachko on August 6th, 2024.
