Like the Olympics, The Baaahd Girls are demonstrating their talents at the Schuylkill County Fair.
So, what are The Baaahd Girls? A team from the Walk-In Art Center Fiber Arts Guild in Schuylkill Haven. They are a team that takes the coat (fleece) from a sheep and turn it into a wearable art form, who are preparing for the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show Sheep to Shawl Competition.
The team takes the wool (fleece) from a sheep, prepares the wool, spins the wool, and weaves the wool into a shawl.
The team can be found at the Schuylkill County Fair on July 30, indoor midway starting about 4 PM.
