One person was transported to the hospital after a crash in Butler Township near Gordon on Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:45pm on Gordon Road in the area of Citizens Cemetery when the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu crossed the double yellow line and into the path of a Ford Focus.
The front driver side corners of each vehicle struck causing the Focus to spin and come to a stop blocking Gordon Road.
The driver of the Malibu continued for approximately 1/4 mile until coming to a stop closer to Country Club Road.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were missing their driver's side front tire.
The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Malibu was not injured.
Butler Township Police are investigating the crash.
Responding to the scene were fire companies from Englewood and Lavelle along with the Washington Rescue and Ambulance from Ashland. Ashland Police also assisted Butler Township Police at the scene.
