At the monthly meeting of the Greater Shenandoah Area Historical Society, a banner was unveiled to honor one of the area's own sports legends.
The large banner was placed on display to commemorate Champ Racis, the only player from Shenandoah to have played on the Pottsville Maroons Championship football team.
