Man Faces Multiple Charges After $10K Fraudulent Purchase at St. Clair Lowe's

 A Hazleton man is facing charges for stealing over $10,000 worth of product from Lowe's in St. Clair with an unauthorized credit card.

According to St. Clair Police, Lowe' Asset Protection provided St. Clair Police with a case file regarding a fraudulent purchase on a customer's account on April 10th, 2024.

'After a lengthy investigation, it was discovered that Gilberto Rodriguez Sanchez entered the store on that date during the point of purchase, provided a credit card that he did not have permission to use.  Sanchez was able to leave the store with $10,568.34 worth of merchandise that was charged to the fraudulent credit card.

Sanchez was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, identity theft, theft by deception, and access device fraud.
