Minersville Police Investigating General Store Robbery

Minersville police are currently investigating a robbery that took place last night at the General Store located at North 2nd and North Street. The incident occurred at approximately 10:17 PM on August 12th.

Authorities are asking residents in the area who have security cameras to review their footage for any signs of the suspects involved. 

There are reports of three, possibly four, individuals believed to be connected to the crime. All of them appear to be black males with short to medium-length dreadlocks and facial hair. They were last seen wearing black pants, black or blue sweatshirts, and masks.

Witnesses reported seeing the suspects run north on 2nd Street and then head east on Carbon Street. Later, residential security footage captured what appears to be the same individuals on School Street around 10:53 PM. By that time, they had changed clothes and were seen in shorts and t-shirts. One of the suspects was wearing a sleeveless white undershirt.
