PennDOT has announced that maintenance crews will be performing various work along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County prompting some lane restrictions.
- Monday, August 5th: Drivers heading southbound on I-81 between Exit 107 (US 209) and Exit 112 (PA 25) in Frailey Township can expect lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, August 6th: Northbound lanes on I-81 between the Luzerne County line and Exit 138 (PA 309) in Kline Township will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, August 7th: Southbound lanes on I-81 between the Luzerne County line and Exit 138 (PA 309) in Kline Township will face lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to bridge repair work.
- Thursday, August 8th: Drivers heading northbound on I-81 between Exit 124 (PA 61) and Exit 112 (PA 25) should expect lane restrictions due to bridge repair from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
