On Thursday, August 8th, 2024, 4:50pm, Pottsville City officers were dispatched to the 1000 Block of West Market Street for a report of a domestic that occurred in the 800 block of Vine Street.
The victim had visible bruises to her right and left elbow area and stated that it had occurred three days prior when Winn Allen, 31, of Pottsville, pushed her up against a wall forcefully resulting in the bruising.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the victim additionally had bruising to the right side of her buttocks and thigh area, a small bruise on her left thigh, and a small scratch on the left side of her lower back.
Allen subsequently turned himself in at Pottsville City Hall and was taken into custody.

Allen was arraigned on the charges of Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S) pursuant to Domestic Violence.
Allen was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker arraigned Allen and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
