Kelly A. Kline
, 54, of Llewellyn passed away Wednesday evening August 28, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem.

Born in Pottsville on December 4, 1969 she was the daughter of Maryann (Seaman) Mulhall and the late Robert Mulhall.

Kelly was of the Catholic faith.

Kelly graduated from Minersville High School in 1987. She went on to graduate from Empire Beauty School.

She was the wife of Jeffrey “Jeff” Kline, they were married September 25, 2000.

In addition to being a hairdresser at Regis Salon in the Fairlane Village Mall for many years she worked in the family business, the Main Street Sandwich Shop in Minersville. She also bartended at the Blue Tavern.

Kelly enjoyed shopping, doing makeup, vacationing and spending time with her family. She was very proud of being 36 months sober.

Kelly is survived by; spouse Jeff Kline, Llewellyn; mother Maryann Mulhall, Greenbury; daughter Kaylin Dougherty (Jon Beach), Llewellyn; son Kevin Dougherty (Bridget), Minersville; stepson Josh Drumheller, Turkey Run; brother Robert Mulhall (Theresa), Shenandoah; brother Shawn Mulhall (Lorrie), Heckscherville; twin sister Kathleen Sponenburg, Greenbury; grandchildren Allison, Annastasia, Miles, Carson, & Archer; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday September 3rd from 9:30-11:00 AM at the Kull-Heizenroth Funeral Home-Ashland. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date.

Frederick Joseph “Pap” Horan
, 85, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday August 28th. 

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Mary E. (McGovern) Horan. Pap was known and beloved by all. He was a perfect example of consistent loyalty, dedication, a tireless work ethic, and selflessness to all who knew him. He was a dedicated employee of Exxon/Tredegar in Marlin for 32 years. Pap was a family man through and through. Even taking on a more fatherly role as the patriarch for his Mother Mary and siblings Gene and Thomasine. He was married to the love of his life Georgine (Dolbin) Horan for 29 years until her sudden passing in November of 1989. He has and always will be an amazing father to his only son Frederick. Outside of being a family man Pap was most known for being an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He lived and died every pitch, every possession, and every basket of his beloved Philly teams. The thunder you may hear in the future may not be from storms but from Pap slamming his foot in heaven in disgust. 

Fred was preceded in death by his wife Georgine, his mother Mary Horan, nephew Jim Horan and niece Marianne Horan. 

He is survived by his son, Fred Horan (spouse, Michelle), Friedensburg, brother Gene Horan (spouse, Barbara) Olney, MD and sister Thomasine Jefferson (spouse, Bill), Schuylkill Haven; three grandchildren, Brandon Horan (spouse, Lucia), Cassidy Horan (spouse, Jordan) and Stephanie Pozza (spouse, Chris); 3 nieces, Sharon, Colleen and Debbie; 1 nephew, Michael. He is also survived by three great nieces, Alexandra, Taylor, Kacie and five great grandchildren, Mina, Melania, Alex, Maggie and Ryan. 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 3, at the Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor Josh Ott officiating. All are respectfully invited to attend a Visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery.
