A man was cited for causing a crash in Pottsville last night after he ran a red light.
Upon arrival, multiple witnesses stated that Kurt Sinclair, 22, of Landingville, was driving a silver Volkswagen failed to stop at the red-light while traveling south through the intersection of W Market St and Gordon Nagle Trail and was hit by a 19-year-old female of Pottsville who was traveling West on Market Street in a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek.
No reported injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Sinclair has been cited for traffic control signals and Operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection.
The Pottsville Fire Department assisted at the scene with traffic control and scene clean up.
