The American Red Cross is assisting residents after a fire in Pottsville on Monday.
Just before 6:15pm, Monday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 627 Laurel Boulevard in Pottsville for an apartment building fire.
The first chief on scene reported a working fire with all occupants clear of the building.
Firefighters made entry and made a quick knock on the fire. The fire was contained to the fire room, but the rest of the structure did sustain smoke damage.
