Juvenile from Schuylkill County Taken into Custody for Making School Threat

A Schuylkill County juvenile is in custody after he allegedly made a threat to a school.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, the Schuylkill Haven Barracks received information relating to a juvenile student making threats to bring a firearm into a school.

Through the investigation, the student was identified and taken into custody.  Schuylkill County Juvenile Probation assisted with taking the student into custody.

The juvenile was charged with 2 counts of making terroristic threats (3rd Degree Felony) and 1 count of disorderly conduct.

All schools that were potentially involved in the threat were notified.
