Information provided to Officers included a female was a victim of a Domestic Assault that occurred at 200 blk of E. Spruce St.
Upon arrival, Officers located the victim who was bleeding from her head and had visible bruising to her arms and face. The victim stated that Gerald Manbeck, 60, of Frackville, placed a pillow and his hand over her mouth and his hands around her neck area which restricted her ability to breathe causing her to lose bladder function. She continued to explain that Manbeck threw a metal object at her head causing the laceration to her head prior to her fleeing the residence.
Based on the Officer’s observations of the victims’ injuries and her statements Officers attempted to locate Manbeck at his residence. Officers were unable to, and a criminal complaint was completed by Patrolman Daniel Bound, requesting a warrant for Manbeck’s arrest on charges of Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment pursuant to domestic violence.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, Frackville Police took Manbeck into custody. He was taken before on call Magisterial District Judge James Reiley.
