A power outage has been reported in the Tamaqua Area Monday morning.
According to PPL, as of 7:00am, 498 homes are without power in Tamaqua. Around 5:45am, emergency personnel were dispatched to Nescopeck Street for a transformer fire when power went out.
PPL is reporting that power is expected to be restored by 9:00am Monday.
