Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Canavan Vaughn. She had been employed as a seamstress in the local garment industry.
Dorothy was an excellent seamstress who enjoyed cooking, sewing and was well traveled enjoying her time on cruises.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis McCormick, her daughter Ellen Holowaty, her sister Betty Green and her brothers; Joseph, Andrew, Vincent and Robert Vaughn.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons; Att’y. Patrick F. McCormick, Frackville; Sean and his wife Maureen McCormick, Lewes, DE; her grandchildren; Rory (Alexis) McCormick, Moira (Bruce) Williams, Shea McCormick, Kathrin (Anthony) Sechuk and Timothy (Caitlin) McCormick, three great-grandsons; Evan, Luke and Cameron also by several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. in Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland, with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs. A viewing, for family and friends, will be held on Friday from 9:30 until time of mass in the church.

Dorothy M. Garcia, 65, of Honeysuckle Court, Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 in Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born on September 13, 1958 in Girard, KS, she was the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy Moss Campbell.
She attended Cahokia High School in Illinois and graduated from Dental Hygienist School.
Dorothy worked in retail management for the former Bradlee Department Store in Woodbridge, VA.
Preceding her in death were a son Paul Vernon Leroux and a brother Dale Campbell.
Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Gregory Garcia; a son, James R. Leroux of Pine Grove; a daughter, Cheyenne L. Garcia of Lebanon; a granddaughter, Sierra McBroom of Lititz; three brothers, James Campbell and Al Campbell, both of Sedalia, MO, Danny Campbell of Ellsinore, MO; two sisters, Barbie Beavers of Willow Springs, MO, Sue Kennedy of Farmington, MO.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Born in Still Creek she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Krish) Burcin.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo.
A lifetime resident of Still Creek, Florence worked alongside her husband Peter within the family businesses. She was involved in their lawn and garden center, used car sales, horse riding academy and an attendant at their gas station. Florence, a devoted homemaker, also loved tending to the animals and gardens on the family farm.
Flossie was known for her big beautiful smile, engaging laughter, and great sense of humor. Her biggest joy in life was her family. She loved caring for her beloved children and helped to raise her grandchildren, which were her pride and joy.
In her later years, Florence filled her days with reading, puzzle books, and watching her favorite TV shows, and cherished the time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Peter Postupack; son, Tim P. Postupack; sister, Vilma Boulifard; and nephew, Douglas M. Burcin.
Surviving are her son, Peter Postupack, Jr. and partner Kathy L. Hepner, New Cumberland; daughter, Lori Gormley and husband Jim, Still Creek; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Postupack, Still Creek; grandchildren Timothy and Tammy Postupack, and Jesse, Ceanna and Shaylee Gormley; great-grandchild Courtney Postupack; brothers, John Burcin, Advance, NC; and Robert Burcin and wife, Kay, Madison, NJ; nephews, Paul Boulifard and Chris Burcin; niece, Shelly Merid; and many other nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo. The Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s U.C. Church, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Ss. Cyril and Methodius Postupack Family Cemetery, Weatherly.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral Home.

Born on May 9, 1959 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Donald E. Sr. and Dorothy Schnoke Miller.
He attended Pine Grove Area High School and was part of the Class of 1977.
Donald was a Truck Driver and owned and operated Shadow Trucking.
He was a member of the Tremont Ambulance Association for 29 years.
Preceding him in death were three sisters, Penny Miller, Susan Ramos, and Mary Earle.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Blanch McNulty Miller; three daughters, Amanda Lebo of Pottsville, Becky Jo and husband Kevin Schaeffer of Pine Grove, Patricia and husband Brad Fidler of Tremont; two step children, Timothy Wertman and Deann McNulty, both of Pottsville; 8 grandchildren, Heather Lebo and companion Danny Perkins, Seth Schnoke, Logan and Lainey Fidler, Colton McNulty, Delila and Tytan Ney, Cody Schaeffer; two great grandchildren, Maverick and Dakota Perkins; two sisters, Donna Schaeffer of Pine Grove, Lori and husband Bob Bartley of Columbia; two brothers, Harvey Miller and Dennis and wife Becky Miller, both of Tremont; nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Tremont Area Ambulance Association, 49 North St., Tremont, Pa. 17981 in his memory.
