Guy R. Fessler, 91, of Auburn, passed away Friday, September 13th, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.Born in Summit Station on April 13, 1933, he was a son of the late Joseph & Lillie (Krause) Fessler.
Guy is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet M. "Judy" (Miller) Fessler, and sister, Helen Edwards.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Summer Hill, Auburn.
Guy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a Sergeant.
He worked most of his life as a carpenter.
Guy belonged to the Summit Station Fire Company, as well as the AMVETS, Summit Station.
He is survived by two sons: Roger Fessler, husband of Randi, of California; & Michael Fessler, husband of Jackie of Summit Station. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ryne Fessler, husband of Amanda, Reisa Hardy, husband of Nick, Matthew, & Katie Fessler, 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Verna Fidler, of Summit Station.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 24th at St. Paul's United Church of Christ of Summer Hill, Auburn with Pastor Kenneth McDowell officiating. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the family's convenience.

Diane L. Goss, 77, of Orwigsburg, passed away Saturday, September 14th, in Schuylkill Haven.
Born in Hazleton on February 9, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Haraschack) and Harold Alber.
Diane graduated from Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing in 1968. After becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked in home care for 40 years.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friedensburg.
Diane is survived by a son, Michael Goss, husband of Donna, of Kapolei, HI; a daughter, Tracy, wife of Jeremy Gustitus, of Schuylkill Haven; and a sister, Nancy, wife of George Glen, of Chambersburg. She is also survived by grandchildren, Logan & Brady Gustitus, and Bridgette Goss; ex-husband and longtime friend, Daniel Goss; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Diane is preceded in death by brothers, Jeffrey and David Alber.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 8th at Ebling Stabingas Funeral Home in Cressona. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the services.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Born on December 8, 1983 in Vietnam, he was a son of Phung Co Dinh Nguyen of Texas and the late Nhuan Nguyen.
Thuy was a Programmer in Texas before moving to Pennsylvania.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 13 years, Dong Thu Nguyen; two children, Khang D Nguyen and Hana Nguyen; a sister Abbie Diem Nguyen of Texas.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, September 14, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.

John W. Latsko, 54, Ashland, passed away on Saturday, September 14th at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Latsko Sr.
John is survived by his mother, Jean Steigerwalt and her husband Dennis of Florida; his brother, William “Billy” Latsko, Ashland; his sister, Stephane Coleman, Georgia; his uncles: James Cusati, Girardville; Lawrence Latsko and his wife Cheryl, Elysburg; Michael Gownley, Florida; his cousin, Melissa Doyle; his two nieces Gina and Julie; his grand niece, Hadley Rose.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 20th at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 403 W. Main Street Girardville with Msgr. William F. Glosser officiating. Family and friends are invited to his visitation at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in St. Mauritius Catholic Cemetery, Ashland.
