Frank Chukoskie, 80, of Ashland (Germansville) passed away Tuesday evening September 3, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East in Pottsville.Born in Danville on December 7, 1943 to the late Dorothy (Kieffer) and Francis Joseph Chukoskie, he was the husband of 54 years to Patricia Ann (Diatchenko) Chukoskie from Bellmawr, New Jersey.
A member of Butler Township High School’s class of 1960, Frank graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Mathematics after 4 years of service in the United States Air Force. He taught at North Schuylkill for many years and then Cardinal Brennan High School before retiring. Frank also coached girls basketball and boys baseball for many years at various levels.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, as well as playing softball or watching any of his kids’ and grandkids’ chosen activities.
Frank is survived by; wife Patricia “Pat” Chukoskie, Germanville; son Frank R. Chukoskie (Jean), Kempton; daughter Leanne Chukoskie (Jeff Coleman), Westborough MA; sister Darla Stefero (John), Morrisville; sister Judith “Judy” Lupino (Tony), Austin PA; 5 grandchildren Zachary, Cole, Joe, Will, & Emily; several nieces & nephews.
Services will be private at the family’s request.

He was born on Saturday, January 22, 1949, in Donaldson, a son of the late Roy E Hatter and the late Mary M (Klouser) Hatter.
He was a tree surgeon for Asplundh and then Penn Line until his retirement .
Robin enjoyed hunting, fishing, wine making, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy Hatter, Barry Hatter, Carey Clark, and George Clark, and five sisters June Hatter, Doris Hancock, Blanche Fetterolf, Olga Ganderton, and Marilyn ODoherty.
He is survived by his wife Patricia A (Kimmel) Hatter, to whom he was married for 50 years and his dog Roscoe.
He is also survived by a daughter, Vicki A Barry of Donaldson; two sons, Robin A Hatter, Jr of Donaldson, Michael E Hatter and his wife Amanda of Pine Grove; four grandchildren, Nathan and Noah Barry and John and Jacob Hatter; a brother, Randy G Hatter and his wife Dorothy of Donaldson; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc.
Burial will be in Donaldson Community Cemetery.

Ashley Renninger, 39, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, September 2nd, at St. Lukes Hospital Bethlehem. Ashley was born in Reading on August 12, 1985, the daughter of Kelly Ann (Renninger) Adams of Cressona and the late Scott N Kramer.
Ashley was a 2003 graduate of Blue Mountain High School before studying cosmetology at Empire Beauty School in Pottsville. She was employed with Cardinal Systems, Schuylkill Haven. She enjoyed gardening, hairdressing and cosmetology. She loved reading, music and her two cats, Baby and Freckles. While she enjoyed spending most of her time with her loving companion, Dave, she also enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her daughter, Emma.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Scott N Kramer; grandparents Richard and Faye Renninger; stepfather Robert Adams, and is survived by her longtime companion, David Dreher; mother Kelly Adams, companion of David Bigg; a daughter Emma Adams; sister Rochelle Roth; brother Ryan Roth, and wife Tori; stepsister Paige Adams; nephews Jaiden Roth, Jaxon Salm and Nicholas Devlin; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 14th at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation service, Inc. in Orwigsburg, with Rev. Walter W. Breiner, Jr. officiating. Memorial gathering will begin with visitation from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM with services at 11:00 AM. Private interment, at a later date, in St. John’s UCC Cemetery, Auburn.

Howard A. “Buddy” Adams, Jr., 91, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born July 1, 1933, in Williamstown to the late Howard A. and Eva Clark Watkeys Adams Sr. Buddy was a graduate of Williamstown High School and was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War.
He was employed by Bell Atlantic which then became AT&T. Buddy was a life member of the American Legion Post 239 and the VFW Post 6497, both in Williamstown. He was a member of the previous Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco, and was a previous Cub and Boy Scout leader for many years. Buddy enjoyed gardening, traveling, and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Betty C. Wasson Adams; a sister, Ruth Lubold.
Buddy is survived by his second wife, Brenda Wolfgang Jones, and her son, Derek (Karla) Jones; nieces, Bonnie (Tim) McGuire and Lori (Joe) Cardaro; cousins, Cindy (Dale) and family, Lois, and Rick (Kathy); many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 10 -11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the Dimon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 644 E. Grand Ave., Tower City. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 11:00 AM with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
Buddy will be laid to rest privately with Betty in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Buddy to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W Market St., Williamstown or the Williamstown EMS, P.O. Box 74, Williamstown, PA 17098.

Born in Reinerton, December 29, 1928, a daughter of the late Alvin and Helen Tomashitus Walason. Dot was a 1946 graduate of Porter High School where she was the valedictorian.
She worked in the local garment industry and retired from TYCO.
Dot was a faithful and lifetime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City, where she was active with the Women's Club.
She was a social member of the Williamstown American Legion and was a former member of the Women of the Moose, Tower City.
Dot will be remembered for her excellent cooking. She enjoyed word search puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Above all else, her family was the center of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Plesnarski, May 28, 1995; an infant son, William Plesnarski; a son-in-law, Dennis Woll; a brother, Richard Walason.
Surviving are her five children, Teresa Plesnarski, Tower City, Joseph Plesnarski (Joan), Pottsville, Carolyn Reiber (Bob), Williamstown, Janet Woll, Williamstown, and Edward Plesnarski (Sherry), Texas; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital, both the Pottsville and Allentown branches, who took excellent care of their mother the past few days.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM from the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City. Viewing will be from 9-10 AM. Dot will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown.
