A Schuylkill County woman has died from injuries she sustained in a crash earlier this month.
According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio, Mary Frances Peiffer, 82, of Auburn was pronounced dead on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.
Buglio reports that Peiffer's cause of death was listed as complications of blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle accident.
Peiffer was the driver of a vehicle that was struck by another vehicle on September 11th, 2024, on the Centre Turnpike (Route 61) at the intersection with Summer Valley Road (Route 895) in West Brunswick Township near Deer Lake.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven is investigating the crash.
