State Police have provided an update after an SUV crashed into a Schuylkill County hair salon Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the incident occurred around 5:15pm, Tuesday, at the 183 Plaza at 217 Route 183 in Wayne Township just south of Cressona.
State Police said the driver of a Hyundai Santa Fe was trying to park in a stall in front of the Just Your Style Hair Design with they accelerated instead of braked.
The vehicle went through the front window and came to a stop in the middle of the salon.
State Police say the driver and employees inside the salon were not injured.
Firefighters cleared the scene just before 6:00pm.
