The Tamaqua Police Department assisted with apprehending a man wanted for raping a child.
According to a press release, Joshua Mickey Martel, 31, from Allentown was taken into custody on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, in Tamaqua.
After being taken into custody, Tamaqua Police transferred Martel to Agents of the U.S. Marshal service.
Martel was wanted on charges of raping a child and statutory sexual assault.
