A woman is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after an incident Friday in St. Clair.
According to St. Clair Police, Ashley Long-Breininger, 37, no known address, has been charged with assault of a law enforcement officer, obstructing administration of law, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and harassment after an incident on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
St. Clair Police say they were conducting a traffic stop near the intersection of Ann and Oak Streets when Long-Breininger interfered.
She then began to resist arrest and while being detained, she spit in the face of the arresting officer and told him that she had hepatitis and AIDS.
Long-Breininger was taken into custody and arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew J. Serina, Orwigsburg, and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000 straight cash bail.
She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Serina on September 10th, 2024.
