The Ashland Applefest, hosted by the Washington Fire Company, is back this weekend, bringing a day full of family fun, food, and autumn festivities.
The festivities kick off on Friday, with the Basket Auction Shop 'n Drop event held at the Washington Fire Co. Community Ambulance Building, located at 1305 Center St. in Ashland. Attendees can drop in from 4 PM to 7 PM to browse a selection of baskets filled with items and enter their bids.
The fun continues on Saturday at Eureka Park, where the main event will take place from 10 AM to 3 PM. Visitors can expect local vendors, lots of food options, and family-friendly activities. The basket auction winners will be announced at 4pm.

The festival will also feature seasonal treats such as apples and pumpkins, along with plenty of entertainment for children, including face painting and more.
Toolshed Jack will provide live music for the event.
Shoppers will love the variety of local vendors selling goods such as mums and custom t-shirts at the Shirt Shack.
