Dirt Bike Stolen from Shenandoah Heights Residence, Police Investigating


West Mahanoy Township Police are investigating the theft of a stolen dirt bike.

According to West Mahanoy Township Police, on Monday evening, September 30, 2024, police were dispatched to 98 Schuylkill Avenue in Shenandoah Heights following the report of a stolen dirt bike. 

The incident reportedly occurred between the morning and evening hours on Monday.

The stolen vehicle is described as a Kawasaki KX 450, primarily black in color, featuring a green front fender and black rims. The owners last saw the bike around 8:30 AM on September 30th. It had been secured with a lock and chain at the residence. Upon returning home just before 10 PM, the residents discovered that the lock and chain had been cut, and the dirt bike was missing.

West Mahanoy Township Police are actively investigating the theft and are seeking the public's assistance in locating the stolen dirt bike. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the department at 570-462-1991.
