Driver Injured After Rock Crashes Through Windshield on Wilburton Road in Columbia County

A driver was injured after a large rock went through his windshield near Wilburton in Columbia County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Bloomsburg, this incident occurred on September 16th, 2024, around 3:20pm on Wilburton Road in Conyngham Township.

State Police say 41-year-old Eric Feese, of Aristes was driving his Ford Escape and traveling east on Wilburton Road when a large rock traveled through the front windshield and struck him in the top portion of his chest.

The large rock continued through the vehicle and out the back window, landing in the middle of the roadway.

Feese was able to pull over safely and call for help.  He was reported to have suffered significant injuries from the rock hitting his chest and was transported to Geisinger by EMS.
