The victims of a fatal crash near McAdoo early Saturday have been identified.
The dispatch for the crash came just after 12:30am, Saturday, with McAdoo units and Hazle Township units being called to 1200 Mile Hill Road in Kline Township.
The crash was reported to involve a vehicle that rearended a parked tractor trailer.
According to Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan, the driver, 67-year-old Jeffrey Urban, of Kline Township, was heavily entrapped and had to be cut out of the vehicle by emergency personnel. Urban was pronounced at the scene by a Schuylkill County Deputy Coroner.
The female passenger in the vehicle also had to be extricated and transferred to a medical helicopter and flown for her injuries.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating the crash and have not released any details as of this posting.
