MEET THE SCHUYLKILL COUNTY MARCHING BANDS is back, highlighting the Marching Bands from our Schuylkill County School Districts. Next to be featured for the 2024 season is the marching band from Mahanoy Area, directed by Chelsea Ferraro.

The Mahanoy Area Marching Band is bringing a new meaning to “Bear Country” for our Fall 2024 show! This year’s show features songs that are from a variety of country styles including Zach Bryan’s Revival featuring the low brass, Sam Hunt’s House Party, featuring the drumline and collective band front, and closing the show with John Denver’s Take Me Home Country Roads, featuring our trumpets and soloist Donovan Herman.
Goals for 2024:
Continual growth and learning throughout the season- as the foundation of the show solidifies, we'll add some more visual concepts to the show later in the season. Always we are focusing on the concept of working together as a singular entity to accomplish something.Major Events Schedule for 2024:
We will be performing at a number of local exhibitions and shows including the Gratz Fair Cavalcade of Bands and a few Tournament of Bands competitions.
