This special day will celebrate the Schuylkill County roots of both Penn State’s head coach Mike Rhoades and his opponent, University of Buffalo’s head coach George Halcovage III.
Coach Rhoades, who took charge of the Nittany Lions in March 2023, hails from Mahanoy City.
On the opposing side, Coach George Halcovage III, who also stepped into his role in March 2023 as Buffalo’s head coach, is a Pottsville native.
Schuylkill County Day will invite all fans from the county.
Tip-off is scheduled for December 1, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Bryce Jordan Center.
