Pottsville Woman Arrested After Threat to "Shoot Up" Schuylkill County Assistance Office

A Pottsville woman faces charges for threatening the Schuylkill County Assistance Office.

According to Pottsville Police, on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, around 4:55pm, police officers responded to a threat report at 2460 Woodglen Road at the Schuylkill County Assistance Office.

Upon our arrival, officers spoke to staff who stated that a Jacqueline Dellamonica, age 38, of Pottsville, made a threat to “shoot the place up” which prompted the staff immediately call the police.

During the investigation police spoke with the Schuylkill County Assistance Office security guard who said that Dellamonica came into the establishment requesting a phone number to call an insurance company which the security guard accidentally gave Dellamonica the wrong number for, which caused her to become angry.

The issue was then resolved and while Dellamonica was outside the building in the parking lot she said to him that she can't wait until it's the summer so she can "shoot the place up". This resulted in Security officer reporting this to the office supervisor and police being summoned.

Due to the above investigation, Ptlm.Fanelli requested a warrant of arrest charging Dellamonica with 1 count of Terroristic Threats (M1) and 1 count of disorderly conduct (S) which was granted by Magisterial District Judge Bayer.

Officers later made contact with Dellamonica at her residence and placed her into custody.

Dellamonica was arraigned before the on call Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer who set bail for Dellamonica at 5,000 dollars, 10 percent.

Dellamonica was then committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of the bail.
