Born on May 4, 1958 in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Violet (Linsenbach) Weaver. She was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School and Empire Beauty School where she became a licensed Cosmetologist. She was also a recipient of a State-level award for nail art & design.
Jacki was a devoted mother and friend, and she was loved deeply. She had a love for nature and the outdoors, horseback riding, travel, and proudly supported the SPCA. She was always up for a hot cup of coffee and conversation. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely who were her biggest pride and joy. She loved to be a part of their activities and adventures.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Kim D. Eckert.
Surviving to honor her memory are a daughter, Corinne M. (Eckert) Bentz, wife of Justin Bentz, Strausstown; son, Tyler K. Eckert, husband of Kate Eckert, North Hills, CA; two grandsons, Alex and Owen Bentz; life companion Karl Koons; four granddogs; two cats; two sisters, Deborah Willier of Pitman and Susan Wevodau of Harrisburg; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
There will be a viewing held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9AM until 11AM with a Memorial Service to follow immediately after at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, in Pine Grove.

Douglas D. Moyer, 60, of Pottsville St., Cressona, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East.
Born on October 10, 1964 in Pottsville, he was a son of Jean Blankenhorn Moyer and the late Charles E. Moyer.
He attended Pine Grove Area High School.
Douglas was a carpenter. He enjoyed flying drones and electric bikes, which he built himself and also enjoyed golfing, fishing and being with friends and family.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Mary Jo Wanagitis Moyer.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a daughter, Kisa Moyer; a son Chanse Moyer; two grandchildren, Roman and Emre Lazzari; two brothers, Scott Moyer of Pine Grove, Gail Moyer of Cressona; a niece, Charity Moyer and a nephew, Justin Moyer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc, 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.

Louis John Fanelli, age 91, of Orwigsburg, PA passed away Sunday, October 27th, 2024 at his home.
Born in Pottsville, PA on December 20, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Teresa (Minchoff) Fanelli.
Louis was a graduate of Pottsville Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Marines as a Cpl during the Korean Conflict. Louis first worked for General Motors in Delaware. He then owned a gas station with his brother and last owned and operated Fanelli BrothersTrucking Company in the High Ridge Industrial Park. Louis was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Pottsville. He loved golfing, relaxing on the beach in Florida, and entertaining with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joan S. (Heffner) Fanelli on August 29, 2005, two sons Louis J. Fanelli Jr. who died on March 30, 1990 and Dennis J. Fanelli who died on Dec. 14, 1996, a grandson Richard D. Fanelli Jr. who died on Nov. 16, 2003, five brothers: Joseph, William, Fred, Edward, and John Fanelli, and four sisters: Teresa Cremia, Josephine Kochel, Conchetta Krell, and Lucilla Fanelli.
Louis is survived by Louis Jr.'s son Louis J. Fanelli III in Oklahoma ; son Richard D. Fanelli husband of Kimberly of Pottsville and their children Jeremy and Nadine; son Dennis Fanelli and his children Corrine, Brent, and Jason; son Kevin J. Fanelli of Orwigsburg and his children Kirk, Nicholas, Keith, Kelsey, and Abby; son Dominic L. Fanelli husband of Mary Louise of Schuylkill Haven and their children Nikki, Gina, and Vincent; son Jeffrey S. Fanelli husband of Jodi of Orwigsburg and their children Jeff Jr., Megan, and Joey; son Anthony J. Fanelli husband of Linda of Port Carbon and their children Tony Jr. and Tyler; daughter Colleen A. Fanelli wife of Rodney Connors of Schuylkill Haven and their children Victoria, Madeline, and Benjamin; son Daniel J. Fanelli husband of Kristie Fanelli of Auburn and their children Caleb and Daniel; 34 Great Grandchildren; two sisters: Patricia Mitnitsky and Kathleen Palmer; his long time companion Nancy Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church in Pottsville at 11AM on Saturday, November 2nd, with Rev. Kevin Bobbin officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning from 9-11AM at St. John the Baptist Church.
Interment with Military Honors will be held at St. John No. 2 Cemetery in Pottsville.

Agnes J. Brennan, 80, of Shenandoah Heights, passed away on October 26, 2024, at her home.
Born in Shenandoah on February 23, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Urban.
Agnes worked as a beautician in Philadelphia early in her working days, and then went on to become a nurse’s aide, working closer to home for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed going camping and shopping, and loved her dog- Izzy, but most of all, she cherished just spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Joseph Brennan in 2006, her son, Paul Brennan, and her sister, Eileen Pellegrino.
The surviving family includes her daughter, Susan Putalonis with her husband Rich of Shenandoah Heights, her grandchildren, Ashley Longo with her companion Joseph Brown of Shenandoah Heights, Michael Williams with his wife April of Shenandoah Heights, and Zachery Putalonis with his companion Jamie Winters of Shenandoah, and Kyle Putalonis of California. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Aiden Longo, Thomas Longo, Berkely Putalonis, Oakley Putalonis, and her lifelong best friend, Karen Allan.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7pm at the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc, 40 N. Jardin St, Shenandoah. A private burial will take place at Skyview Memorial Park in Hometown.

Gertrude E. (Parry) Yordy, 83, of Pottsville, passed away on Monday, October 28th surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pottsville on May 1, 1941, she was a daughter of the later Frank and Gertrude (Brennan) Parry.
Gertrude worked for St. Clair Garment and then worked for Cressona Knitting Mills for over 25 years, but her pride and joy were taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a former member of Immaculate Conception Church, St. Clair and then attended St. Patrick Church, Pottsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Yordy, who died June 16, 2000, granddaughter, Heather Roberts, great grandchildren, Kayden Ostrousky and Bryson Cook, sister, Rose Smith, brothers, Frank, William, Joseph and John Parry.
Surviving are her 4 daughters, Joan (Donald) Laub, Jean Yordy, Jayne Zelinsky, Jill (Joseph) Ostrousky, son, Harry Yordy, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 1st, 2024 at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10-11 AM Friday morning at the funeral home prior to the services. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. Clair.

Doretta Jones, 86, passed away peacefully at her home October 28, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edith Jones, was a lifelong resident of Grier City and Mahanoy City and was a 1956 graduate of Mahanoy City High School.
Doretta was preceded in death by her husband Ira (Corp) Jones, an infant son Ira, and a sister Betty Stevenson-Kern.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law Sharon and Leon Trusky, son Jay, daughter Sherry Nolan and family, and great grandson Luke Trusky who named her Mimi Mam Mam. Doretta was loved by and cared for her son's dog Maxie and her daughters cats DayDay and Shiva. She was blessed with the friendship of Ann, Janet, Eileen and Bernice who called and checked on each other frequently.
For many years Doretta taught piano to students in the area as well as served as organist at various churches. Her last endeavor was as owner/operator of Jones News Agency in Mahanoy City with her husband and son until retirement in 2017.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Friday morning at 11:30 AM from David D. Jarrett Funeral Home of Mahanoy City. The Rev. Robert Adams will officiate.
Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery in Mahanoy Township. Friends may call at the funeral home of Friday morning from 10 AM utill time of services. In lieu of flowers contributions in her name to the First Congregational Church would be appreciated by the family and will be accepted at the visitation.
Leonard M. Chistakoff, 81, of Phoenix Park, Passed away Sunday October 27, 2024 at his home.
Born in McAdoo, he was a son of the late George Chistikoff Sr. and Sally (Yanick) Chistakoff.
After high school, Leonard served in the US Army before a carrer as a Truck Driver and an Independent Coal Miner.
He was a member of the Phoenix Park Fire Co.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Kissinger) Chistakoff; a son John Chistakoff; 2 Brothers James and George Chistakoff; a sister Marian Baker.
He is survived by 2 sons Leonard Chistakoff of Black Diamond; Scott Chistakoff and his wife Bridget of Black Diamond a daughter Tonya Yob and her husband Leo of Primrose; Grandchildren Brandon Chistakoff; Cody Chistakoff; Scott Chistakoff; Ashley Chistakoff; Levi Purcell; David Chistakoff; Jordan Yob and Ava Yob; Ex wife of 22 years Stella Chistakoff; Niece and nephews;
Burial with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
