Linda L. Heckman
, mother, grammy, sister, 76 years of age, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus.

Born Tuesday, June 29, 1948 in Quakake, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Ernest and Dorthea (Sabulsky) Heckman.

Surviving are sons, Chris G. Conville and his wife Beth of Coaldale, Mark G. Conville and his wife Ruth of Tamaqua; daughter, Sheila Conville of Coaldale; brothers, Ernest Heckman, Barry Heckman and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Candace Knox wife of Zach, Kealey Conville companion of Noah Krajcirik, Craig Conville, Gabriel, Genevieve, Gracelyn, and Greenleigh Conville ; great grandchildren, Tate and Cade Knox.

A graduate of Montgomery High School, Linda was a doting mother and loving grammy.

Larry E. Morgan
, 79 of Ashland, passed away Friday October 11, 2024, at his home.

He was born on June 13, 1945, in Pitman, PA, a son of Ernest and Joyce Kissinger Morgan.

Larry was a graduate of Tri Valley High School, Class of 1963, where he excelled in football and basketball. Following high school, he and his friends had many memories playing flag football in the mud at the Hegins Park. He helped coach Tri Valley Midget football for 11 years.

He was an assembler for TRW/Chromoloy, Harrisburg for 37 years, followed by 15 years as a maintenance man for the Tri Valley School District, taking pride in all aspects of the job, especially in maintaining the football fields.

Larry was a life member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting, which he was very proud of his trophy 11 point buck. He had perfect attendance at the annual Easter Sunrise Service, and Wednesday Bible Study. Larry loved all sports, especially the Steelers and Penn State football. Larry will be remembered for his outgoing personality and enjoyed life to the fullest.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Morgan.

Larry is survived by his wife, the former J. Louise Reinoehl, to whom he was married for 18 years.

He is also survived by three sons, Kenneth Morgan, Valley View; Eric and wife Crystal Morgan, Klingerstown; Blake and wife Pamela Morgan, Hegins; one daughter, Rachel and husband Matthew Kerstetter, Gowen City; 4 step daughters Kimberly Petusky; Kelly and husband Joe Kost; Michelle and husband Dave McCammitt; Jennifer Neary and fiance John Tygier; and a sister Brenda and husband Peter Tetrell; 7 Grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces, cousins and friends.

Family wishes to thank the staff of Connections Life Hospice, Mt. Carmel for the compassion and excellent care during his brief illness with cancer, also the offices of Dr. Douglas Charles in Valley View, Dr. Satish Singla, Pottsville and Dr. Lewis Harpster, UPMC Mechanicsburg, as well as Pastor Jeremy for the love and care he gave to Larry during his illness and the friendship they shared.

Services will be held at Lavelle Church of the Nazarene at 11am on October 21st, with Pastor Jeremy Smallwood officiating. A visitation will be held from 10am until time of service at the church.

Ronald “Ron” Radzai, 74, of Ashland passed away Monday morning October 14, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Brian S. Thomas
, 63, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, October 11th, at his residence.
Brian was born in Pottsville, on February 9, 1961, a son of the late Betty Almeda (Zimmerman) and Thomas William Thomas.

He attended Faith Reformed United Church of Christ Landingville and graduated from Pottsville High School, Class of 1980.

Brian worked as a Auto Mechanic and was also a D J for many years. He and Snoopy would volunteer often locally, and also supported the Salvation Army during their Holiday Fund Drives.

Brian is survived by his brother, Dr. Kurt K. Thomas, husband of Barbara , of Hanover, numerous nieces & nephews, that he was very fond of, and his beloved Beagle Snoopy,

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his siblings Garry Thomas, Karen Anderson and Craig Thomas.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 2nd at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home, Inc. Orwigsburg, With Rev James Fidler officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in Mt Laurel Cemetery, Pottsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army in Brian's memory.

Sara Ann King, 78, of Ashland, died on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Pottsville. She was the wife of the late James King with whom she shared thirty-seven years of marriage before his death in 2021. 

Born in Coaldale, Sara was the daughter of the late Norman and Sarah (Schriber) Nahf. Sara was a sewing machine operator who worked in several local knitting mills, including J.E. Morgan’s, and was also certified as a nursing assistant. She was a former member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tamaqua. Sara loved her cats, flowers and watching religious movies. 

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie and her husband William Yarnall of Ringtown; sons, Clayton Uhrie of McAdoo and Douglas Uhrie of Ashland; step-daughters, Lori King of Lehigh Valley and Alysia King of Allentown; step-son, James King, Jr., of Lehighton; granddaughters, Jennifer and her husband John Wishnefsky of Kulpmont, and Andrea Yarnall and her fiancĂ© Matt Mallick of Pottsville; grandson, William Yarnall of Ringtown; and great grandchildren, Layla and Vera Wishnefsky. Sara was predeceased by a brother, Norman Nahf, II.; and half-brothers, Earl, and Clyde Neff. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 17, 2024, in Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with the Rev. Cindy White officiating. 

Interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, North Columbia and Church Streets, Tamaqua will follow the service. Call Thursday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the funeral home. 

Memorial donations can be made to Zion Lutheran Cemetery, c/o Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 101 North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua 18252. 

Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation services, Inc., Tamaqua.
