Born in Middletown, DE on May 10, 1936, he was a son of the late Charles David Wert, Sr. & Emma Virginia (Wilson) Wert.
Married in 1972, he was the husband of Saretta R. (Wayne) Wert.
David was a hard worker and always had to keep busy. He had been employed in maintenance for a Paper Mill, in addition to working as a farmer and in restaurants.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three daughters: Renee, wife of Barry Brill, of Narvon; Angie, wife of Drew Knott, of DE; & Maria, wife of Michael Molnar, of Hegins; three sons: David Wayne Wert, husband of Holly, of FL; Ralph Ernest "Ernie" Wert, of Reading; & Alfred James Wert, of West Chester; nine grandchildren, & two brothers: Ralph "Richard" Wert, of VA; & William Wert, of NC.
He is preceded in death by a brother, James Aaron Wert.
David was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.
He loved to play cards, games, do crossword puzzles, and color in coloring books.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday, October 31st at 2 PM at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service.
Interment will be private at the family's convenience.

Born on May 26, 1959 in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Dana Cole and Shirley Hubler.
Douglas was a truck driver for Wegman's.
He was a member of the Tulpehocken Rifle and Pistol Club.
Preceding him in death were two sisters, Danna Clark and Roxanne Reed.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Bonnie Blain Cole; six children, Tina Cole, Michael Cole, Douglas Cole, Jr., Anthony Blain, Jessica Weinus, Trevor Weinus; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, Russell "Butch" Hubler of Halifax; many nieces and nephews.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Mary Catherine (Krynak) Williams, Girardville and the late Henry Williams.
He had been employed as an accountant for the Public Utility Commission, Harrisburg.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé Jean Ann Parfitt, Girardville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Girardville, with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Englewood, Frackville.
Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of mass.

Doreen P. Molinaro, 86 years of age, of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, as a guest of Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.
Born Wednesday, September 21, 1938 in Romford, England the daughter of the late John, and Sadie (Kinnear) Stewart. Doreen was also predeceased by; husband, Thomas Molinaro.
Surviving are daughter, Roxanne Marek and her husband Rich of Coaldale; brother, John Stewart; nieces and nephews.
Doreen became a United States Citizen on September 16, 1999, and retired from Master's Corporation working as District Manager of the ladies & children's clothing departments located in the Hometown Laneco Store where she worked for over 20 years. Roxanne enjoyed doing puzzles and looked forward to trips to the beach with Doreen, Rich and their family.
