Schuylkill Technology Center’s New HVAC Program Receives Donations Ahead of 2025 Launch


Staff at the North Campus of Schuylkill Technology Center (STC) receive donations to the new secondary Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning Program (HVAC) scheduled to launch in January of 2025. 

Clay Leibold and his son Colton, of Leibold Incorporated presented a monetary donation to the program in the amount of $3,000. In addition, Leibold delivered a shipment of tools valued at $3,798.75 contributed to STC by the Steamfitters Pipefitters & Plumbers United Association JATC Local 524.

“Leibold Inc., has been instrumental in the development of the new HVAC Program, providing curriculum input, guidance regarding the laboratory space, soliciting support and donations for the program as well providing direct financial support,” said Shannon Brennan, STC Director.

A ribbon cutting for the new classroom is being organized by the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce and scheduled to take place on 12/10/24 at 8:30am. STC is presently accepting applicants for this program from participating high school students. An adult education program is projected to launch in the summer of 2025.
