The Shenandoah Police Department is actively searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run that left a juvenile injured on Sunday.
Authorities report that the incident occurred on the 400 Block of West Centre Street, where a white SUV struck a young pedestrian. The juvenile sustained a leg injury and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV did not stop after the incident and continued to drive away from the scene. They were able to obtain a picture of the suspect vehicle.
Police are urging anyone who may have information about the driver or the vehicle involved, which has been pictured, to come forward.
