U.S. Senate Candidate Dave McCormick Makes Campaign Stop in Schuylkill County

On Monday, U.S. Senate candidate for Pennsylvania, Dave McCormick, made a stop in Schuylkill County as part of his "Price of Poor Leadership Tour."

The Republican candidate visited the Gilberton Power - John B. Rich Memorial Power Station on Morea Road, near Frackville, where he addressed the media and employees of the plant.

McCormick, who is running to unseat the incumbent Democrat, Senator Bob Casey, focused his remarks on the state of the economy. He laid blame for rising inflation and economic struggles squarely on the Biden-Harris administration, while also tying Senator Casey to what he called "poor leadership" in Washington.

The event, which took place at one of the region's energy facilities, saw McCormick emphasize the need for economic reform, vowing to prioritize reducing government spending and improving the business climate in Pennsylvania.

McCormick was joined by Will Rich of Reading Anthracite and Alex Brush from Ri-Corp, who showed their support for his candidacy.
