A Delano woman was seriously injured in a crash in Ryan Township last week.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred on Friday, September 27th, 2024, around 7:30am on Barnesville Drive/Route 54.
Troopers say Renee Hruniuk, 43, of Delano was traveling east on Route 54 in a Toyota Corolla when she left her lane and crossed into the oncoming lane, crashing into a tractor trailer driven by Carolus Sterckel, 65, of Moncton New Brunswick.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Hruniuk was reported to have sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital by Ryan Township EMS. Sterckel was not injured.
