An antique fire truck was vandalized last month at the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society near Mahanoy City.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on October 28, 2024, the Schuylkill Historical Society reported that their 1977 American LaFrance antique fire truck had been vandalized at their property on 11 White Owl Avenue in Mahanoy Township.
Troopers stated that the suspect entered the unlocked fire truck and caused $2,694 in damage. State Police revealed they have identified a suspect with the help of video surveillance, but the individual has not been publicly named or charged as the investigation is ongoing.
