Just after 6:30pm, Sunday, emergency personnel were called to 1162 Keystone Boulevard, in Cass Township, for a reported commercial fire.
The first units on scene discovered ductwork glowing from intense heat, with thick smoke billowing from it. The building was also filling with smoke.
All staff were evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Cass Township, Minersville, Pottsville, Gordon, and Frackville responded to the scene along with Minersville EMS.
The fire was contained the ductwork, but it took firefighters approximately an hour until they marked it as under control.
