Pennsylvania State Legislators that Represent Schuylkill County All Reelected

The five State Legislators that represent Schuylkill County were all reelected to their positions during Tuesday's General Election.

Pennsylvania State Senate: 29th District

Senator Dave Argall secured his fifth term in the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 29th District. Argall, a Republican, emerged victorious over Democrat John Zugarek and Libertarian Timothy Henning. Argall has been serving in the Senate since 2009.

Unofficial Results:

  • Dave Argall (R) - 85,612 votes
  • John Zugarek (D) - 31,237 votes
  • Timothy Henning (L) - 3,570 votes

The 29th District includes all of Schuylkill County and parts of Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, and Northampton counties.


Pennsylvania House of Representatives: 107th District

Representative Joanne Stehr, a Republican, ran unopposed and was re-elected to her seat in the 107th District. Stehr was first elected in 2022.

Unofficial Results:

  • Joanne Stehr (R) - 27,967 votes

The 107th District covers parts of Northumberland and Schuylkill counties, including rural areas and smaller communities.


Pennsylvania House of Representatives: 116th District

Republican incumbent Dane Watro successfully won a second term, defeating Republican challenger Deborah Adoff. Watro first took office in 2022.

Unofficial Results:

  • Dane Watro (R) - 15,041 votes
  • Deborah Adoff (R) - 5,643 votes

The 116th District encompasses portions of Schuylkill and Luzerne County.


Pennsylvania House of Representatives: 123rd District

Tim Twardzik, a Republican, won a third term in the Pennsylvania House after defeating Democrat Michael Zvalaren. Twardzik was first elected in 2020.

Unofficial Results:

  • Tim Twardzik (R) - 23,289 votes
  • Michael Zvalaren (D) - 8,612 votes

The 123rd District includes parts of Schuylkill County.


Pennsylvania House of Representatives: 124th District

Representative Jamie Barton retained his seat for a second term, defeating Democrat Tina Burns. 

Barton was first elected in 2022.

Unofficial Results:

  • Jamie Barton (R) - 26,434 votes
  • Gene Stilp (D) - 12,142 votes

The 124th District includes portions of Berks and Schuylkill counties.
