Pioneer Pole Buildings Donates to East Union Township Police

Last week, Pioneer Pole Buildings, located in Wayne Township, made a $5,000 donation to the East Union Township Police Department.

The funds will be directed towards technological upgrades, including rugged laptops (commonly known as Toughbooks), printers, and headrest mounts for patrol vehicles, enhancing the efficiency and safety of officers on duty.

The donation was presented by Pioneer Pole Buildings' President, Bob Greene, who emphasized the company's ongoing commitment to supporting local law enforcement and the broader Schuylkill County community. “As we have done for many years in the past, we continue to invest in our community and support our Schuylkill County Police Departments,” Greene said. “This donation to East Union Township is possible because of all our great customers that trust Pioneer’s family of businesses to do their projects. In return, our great employees are able to work hard and give back to our community."

Officer in Charge Douglas Litwhiler accepted the donation.

Greene also noted the pride that Pioneer Pole Buildings takes in representing Schuylkill County across a seven-state region, where the company specializes in building structures. “We take great pride in representing Schuylkill County in our seven-state region of building buildings, and we also want to contribute to keeping our county the best place to live.”
