Quad Driver Flees Scene After Crashing Into Parked SUV in Girardville

The driver of a quad fled after crashing into a vehicle in Girardville late Saturday.

The incident occurred just after 8:15pm, on Saturday in the 300 Block of West Main Street in the borough.

Witnesses at the scene reported multiple quads were travelling together west on Main Street and doing donuts in the street when one of them crashed into a rear of a parked SUV.

The witnesses told Skook News they attempted to help the driver, but he was picked up by the other quad riders and fled west towards Ashland.

The quad became wedged underneath the SUV and also caused damaged to the rear of the vehicle including smashing out the back window.

The Girardville Fire Department responded to the scene for a shot time but were cleared.  The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville responded and were investigating.
