She was born on Friday, May 20, 1955, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Allen R Clark and the late Verona V (Dietrich) Clark.
Barbara attended Tri-Valley High School, worked in the local garment factories and became a graduate of Empire Beauty School, where she was able to fulfill her desire of being a beautician and having her own little Barbara's Beauty Salon.
She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
Barbara was a Phillies fan. And most of all, she adored her family and being able to care for them. She always made sure they were never left hungry, especially with her chocolate cake with peanut butter icing.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyle Clark and Richard Clark.
She is survived by her husband Lamar H Miller, to whom she was married for 46 years.
She is also survived by a son, Tori L Miller and his wife Stacy of Valley View; three granddaughters, Kaitlyn Adams and her fiancée Giovanni of Chicago, IL, Brooke Adams of Philadelphia, and Avery Miller of Valley View; a brother, Robert Clark and his wife Cindy of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Suzanne Elliott officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.

Susan J. Paris, 81, a resident of Sheppton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14th, 2024.
Susan was born in Long Island, NY on June 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Harold and Jane (Longobardi) Charpied.
She was a graduate of the Plainedge High School in New York and worked as a liability specialist for Northeast Counseling for 27 years prior to retirement. She recently worked as a cafeteria aide for the Hazleton School District.
Sue was active with the Nuremberg American Legion Auxillary, and enjoyed going out with her friends to festivals and venues with live entertainment, along with the occasional trip to the casino.
Most important of all, she was very involved with her grandchildren and rarely missed any of their sporting events or activities.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a son Robert in 2003, and a sister Sherry Olivo.
She is survived by her children, William Paris and his wife Tracy of Drums; Thomas Paris of Sheppton; Joseph Paris and his wife Laurel of Wapwallopen and Snow Paris and her husband Preston Biros of Sheppton.
She leaves behind the grandchildren she so loved, Adam Paris, Evan Paris, Ryan Forgotch, Ryan Wagner, Daniel Demshock, Jr., Jayden Gardner and Knox Breznik, along with great grandchildren Theodore and Evadne Paris.
Two sisters, Sandra Burgess and Sally Charpied and two brothers, Shawn Charpied and Steven Charpied, all of New York also survive, with nieces, nephews and cousins.
Susan will be laid to rest in the Nuremberg cemetery during private family services, which are being provided by the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home of Ringtown.

Helen Roslevege, 79, of Kline Twp., passed away Friday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Herbert G. and Julia (Hupcey) Eisenman.
Prior to retiring, Helen owned and operated Helen’s Floral and Gift Shop, in McAdoo.
Helen was a devoted member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo. She was commissioned by the Diocese of Allentown as a pastoral minister, serving duties as visitation of the sick and Eucharistic Minister. She served her parish as a CCD teacher, choir member, lector, and actively involved with the Parish Activities Group.
Helen was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her husband Nicholas S. Roslevege; sisters, Janet Forrest, Marion McHugh, Marlene Eisenman, Julie Ann Bersavage and Theresa Eisenman; brothers, John and Michael Eisenman.
Surviving are her son Nicholas Roslevege, Kline Twp; Cheryl Wesner and husband Dale, Kline Twp; Mary Jo Roslevege, Kline Twp; and Christopher Roslevege and wife Melissa, Linglestown; grandchildren, Robert, Michael and Nicholas, Anna Marie and husband Branden, and Matthew and Hope; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, November 20. Rev. Msgr. Edward Zemanik will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. A private committal service will be held in St. Michael’s B.C. Cemetery, McAdoo, at the convenience of the family.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.

Mary M. Hill, 89, of Tresckow, passed away Thursday, surrounded by her loving family, at the home of her daughter in Parkton, MD.
Born in Hazleton, Mary was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Donahue) McHugh.
She was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Mary had a loving devotion for the Blessed Mother. She was a very kind soul that cared for everyone. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed all the time spent and special occasions with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mary also loved playing Bingo.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Donald Hill; brothers, James, Robert, John, Daniel, and Eugene McHugh; and sister, Eileen Flaim.
Surviving are her son, Donald “Hilly” Hill and fiancee, Lynne Keller of Hazle Twp; daughter, Mary Anne Gibbons and husband, Bradley of Parkton, MD; grandchildren, Dalton Hill and fiancée, Bailey Raspach, Elizabeth Gibbons, and Emily Gibbons and husband Jay Molnar; sister, Anne Shane of McAdoo; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, November 22, 2024. Rev. Eugene Ritz will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in St. Gabriel’s R.C. Cemetery, Hazleton.

Geraldine was a devoted member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City. Throughout her life, she worked at Bell Telephone, the Mahanoy City Cigar Factory, and the Eagle Brothers Shirt Factory in Mahanoy City.
She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Dougert. Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Bernetta, and her companion Scott Dougert of Orefield, and her son, James, and his wife Debbie Dougert of Dallastown, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Philip McArdle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Thursday, November 21st, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating. Friends and family are invited to call at the parish at 10 AM on Thursday. Interment will follow in St. Fidelis Cemetery in Mahanoy City, PA.
