Shots Fired During Road Rage Incident on Route 61 in Schuylkill County


The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Route 61 in Schuylkill County on Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:15pm, on Route 61 at the intersection of Municipal Road in West Brunswick Township, near Orwigsburg.

State Police say an altercation occurred between a 29-year-old male and a 30-year-old male while at a steady red light on Route 61.  During the altercation, one of the males fired multiple rounds in the direction of the other person.

State Police did not identify the shooter or report if anyone was charged for the incident.
