Ashland embraced the holiday spirit Saturday evening during its Old-Fashioned Christmas event, hosted by the Ashland Rotary Club.
With a variety of festive activities, the celebration brought together residents and visitors for a day of holiday cheer.
The day began on a sweet note with the Gingerbread House Contest, where participants showcased their creativity.
From 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., the heart of the festivities moved to the American Legion. The Ashland Rotary Club offered a lineup of attractions, including free horse-drawn carriage rides. Guests were treated to complimentary hot dogs, popcorn, and hot cocoa, while delicious baked goods from Bethany EC Church and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
The Schuylkill Drama Club enhanced the festive ambiance with their enchanting performance of Christmas carols, dressed in charming Victorian attire.
